Day 1 of Work

The Subway - probably the most ingenious and eco-friendly invention on the planet. No joke. People kept asking me if I was more nervous about meeting the cast of the show or figuring out the public transportation, and at the time I was more frightened of learning the subway! But I figured it out in the snap of a finger, and really enjoy riding it.
Lex wanted me to include daily pictures of my outfit choices for work. You've gotta dress to impress, right? And everyone in this city is so FIERCE I love it.
Harry Potter?!

I just got home from my first day of work...I wanted to include more pictures for visual documentation, but unfortunately I didn't because I wanted to be professional and not papparazzi EVERYONE and EVERYTHING...but just know I so would of. But the benefit is that I have it up all stored up their in my cinematic lens and cranium fluid. Some things will just have to remain my own personal secret :)

But oh my goodness, what a (long) but amazing day it was today! I don't think I can even reiterate what I just experienced. I was thrown right into the heart of production on my favorite TV show. It was definitely an out-of-body experience meeting the entire crew who are so passionate about what they do and are so supportive and friendly. And meeting the cast was insanely unreal. But in such a good way. They were so laid-back and ecstatic to meet a fan/co-worker. I was having a difficult time not geeking out in front of them, but after we started talking, I kept my cool. I was actually talking with Ana Ortiz and Becki Newton. People that I've watched for two seasons on the tube, it was definitely a cool experience!

I'm so tired though...I'm back at Evan's after a 13 hour day of sensory overload! The people, the sets, the food, everything. I will write more when I can. I've gotta catch a few z's because crew call time will come very quickly tomorrow morning...
